Supply and Installation of OB49 French Doors and A Bifold Window in Catford

You may have heard of bifold doors but have you heard of bifold windows? For this project, YPE Bifold Doors installed new French doors and a bifold window to a property in Catford.

Bifold windows are sometimes called ‘servery windows’, and this style is traditionally associated with restaurants. These windows offer all the benefits of bifold doors, including narrow sightlines, large openings and many customisation options. The bifold window style folds back on itself to create an uninterrupted view with an inward or outward opening. They feature many innovative features, including special finger-safe gaskets, so hands cannot get trapped and a magnetic catch so the windows remain in place and open.

Alongside the bifold window, we supplied and fitted a set of Origin French doors. These offer a contemporary take on traditional French doors and also allow natural light to flood into any property when open. Three threshold options are available – weathered, non-weathered and mobility, so customers can choose how they move through the doors.

Any challenges?

There were no challenges. The bifold window and French doors made the extension look very stylish. It is the only property with an extension at the back of the house, but it did not look out of place.
