Our client wanted to create a modern opening and give more character to their lovely big hallway in their West Hampstead home. They also hoped to prevent heat loss when the front door open so they would save money on energy bills.

Available in classic RAL 9005M Jet Black, these doors offer countless customisation options, making them ideal for all spaces within any home or commercial property. They are constructed from ultra-strong aluminium, giving them a steel-look appearance. Customers can choose to add horizontal and vertical Georgian bars for a complete Heritage look. They are powder-coated for a smooth and robust finish.

These internal aluminium doors can fit very large spaces (door height can be anywhere up to 2500mm), making this an ideal option for our client. These doors are available as French doors, single doors, corner configurations and internal screens. Our client opted for a single door with panelling on one side and above the door.

Offering a rustic feel to any space, they are also very energy efficient. As with all Origin installations, these doors offer a market-leading guarantee of 20 years.

Any challenges?

This was a two-day installation and more complicated than other installations. Firstly our fitter had to discuss with the client where she wanted the door placed. Our specialised fitter then had to cut into the coving of the client’s walls, which was part of the installation, to ensure an expert finish.
